Alma Risk was established to bring effective security and risk management solutions to both private and commercial clients. Alma has a highly experienced management team who have extensive experience in working with clients to deliver best in class risk management solutions to achieve critical or difficult objectives. Alma draws its team from a wide spectrum of sectors including the military, intelligence, academic and legal professions.

JACK MANN

CEO

Jack is the CEO and director of Alma Risk. Having spent six years in the British Army, where he saw service in Iraq and Afghanistan, Jack moved into the private security industry with the ambition to start his own business. He spent two and half years working in London as CEO for a small specialist security provider delivering UK domestic security solutions as well as high-level consultancy into North & East African governments and security forces. On leaving that position Jack went to work for one of the UK’s largest consulting firms as Country Manager in Libya. Here he was responsible for all in country matters, working closely with major Oil & Gas operators.

Jack returned from Libya having gained experience of running operations in both hostile and corporate environments. At this point an opportunity presented itself for him to start Alma Risk. In forming Alma Risk he saw an opportunity to combine individuals from a wide cross section of the industry.

MARK OSBORNE

STRATEGY & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

Mark is a founding Director of Alma Risk and has responsibility for commercial strategy and business development. Mark has extensive knowledge in asset protection, maritime risk and delivering security solutions into some of the worlds most hostile environments. Prior to establishing Alma, Mark in 2010 founded a maritime security company which he grew to the largest in the world and ranked number 8 in 2014 in the Times Fast track 100.

Mark also served 15 years in the British Army several of those spent serving in 22 SAS (UK Special Forces) during this time he was involved in a number of very high profile operations during 2003 to 2007.
